Tour With Staind

[ Wednesday 20 August 2008 - 08:33:05 ]

Aaron Lewis, the singer of Staind, got interviewed by The Gauntlet and revealed that they will go on tour with Papa Roach and Seether at the end of this year. One date in Greensboro, NC on October 7 is already confirmed. Unfortunately this seems only be limited to the States and Papa Roach will not head over to Europe with them.

"The Gauntlet: What are your touring plans for the album?
Aaron: We are out right now with 3 Doors Down along with doing some headlining shows when they’re not playing. That’s done on August 31, and then we’re off for 3 days. Then we go to Europe with Nickelback. When we get back from Europe, we’ll do a headlining tour of the States with Seether and Papa Roach. That’ll go until the end of December, and then I’ve got a bunch of solo shows over the holidays and through the first couple weeks of January. Then we go back to Europe again with Seether. Then another couple of weeks of solo shows, then I’m really not sure – hopefully we’ll hit the rest of the world."

Message From Jerry - Tour Update

[ Sunday 17 August 2008 - 12:12:57 ]

"What up everybody. Just wanted to check in with you guys. The tour has been going great. It is really a trip for us to be touring with Motley Crue. We grew up listening to them, and I was a little intimidated at first, but they are all really cool. BTW, Mick played a lead on one of our songs on the new record called, "Into The Light". Pretty bad-ass...
Anyway, this tour has been good for us. We are getting in front of a lot of people, and turning them around. For those who have been to any of the Crue Fest shows, chime in, and let us know about your experiences. As a reminder, there is the flickr group: Papa Roach Live. Post your photos there.
We have been getting mixes of new songs, and things are sounding GREAT! We all are really excited about how this record is turning out. I can't wait for you guys to hear it. I know I have been saying that for a while, but when it is ready, you'll hear it. Thanks to everybody coming to the Crue Fest shows, and representing Papa Roach! Talk to you guys soon."

New Impressions Of "Metamorphosis"

[ Tuesday 15 July 2008 - 17:33:19 ]

So since July 1 Papa Roach are on tour with Mötley Crüe, Buckcherry, Trapt and Sixx: Am. As the new record is close to be finished they are of course playing new songs. So you can find new material for example on youtube. So far the following songs are confirmed: "Change Or Die", "Hanging On", "Into The Light", "March Out Of The Darkness", "Carry Me", "Broke Down, Beat Down", "Metamorphosis", "I Almost Told You That I Loved You" and "Had Enough".

Jacoby Shaddix announced in Tampa, FL on July 3 that the album will be released on August 26, though this is not officially confirmed. There is also a saying about September 16 2008 what seems more realistic. Thanks to DavidTV, SamSam333 and exthrill for sending news while I was enjoying my vacation.

First Crüe Fest Concert Review From Tony

[ Thursday 03 July 2008 - 11:46:10 ]

"Well, the first show of Crue Fest is now history and we thank you, West Palm Beach, for making it an awesome night. It seems that all the bands are working out the kinks and I think the night was a success. I'm feeling the back to back sets I did with Sixx A.M. and P. Roach. It usually takes about a week to get into tour mode but I've never played two sets a night so it might take my old ass a little longer! It's much more physical than studio mode.
Speaking of, the record is nearing completion and we cannot wait to infect your minds with the wide range of musical assault it covers. Hope everyone last night had an amazing experience and we're looking forward to each and every show coming up. Bring your friends, neighbors, cousins or whoever else you can to the event of the summer and you'd better be ready to get your asses rocked!! Tony P."
